Welcome to my website!

Thank you for visiting my site! I am a post-doctoral fellow in the Institute for Quantitative Social Science at Harvard University. My fields of expertise are political methodology and international relations. In methodology I specialize in statistical computing, missing data problems, and measurement issues. I have several papers on new statistical methods and am developing several R packages to implement the methods I suggest in my papers. In international relations, my subject of specialty is terrorism. I am especially interested in the empirical implications of theoretical models and the gathering of terrorism data. In Fall of 2008 I will start a possition as Assistant Professor of Political Science at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
